True Wealth

True Wealth

Two friends named Max and Tim met after a really long time.  “I have a huge house with a pool,” Max boasted while drinking his tea. “I have 30 cars and a garden in front of my house,” Tim said.

Soon they started fighting over who was richer and who was less. Suddenly, the ground started shaking and they realized it was an earthquake. Tim quickly hid under the table and pulled Max down with him.

Max took his handkerchief and wrapped Tim’s bleeding hand that he hurt while pulling Max. The bamboos and bricks the hotel was made of started falling down. But Max and Tim were safe.

They realized none of their wealth helped them, friendship and kindness did.

Moral of the Story: True wealth isn’t money or materials, it is friendship and kindness.

Fred and George

Fred and George

Fred was a little boy who loved to go fishing with his friends. He usually went fishing down the river with his friend George. Fred and George were best friends and always helped each other.

One day they went fishing together but couldn’t find any fish. So, Fred rowed and took the boat to the deeper side to find fish. He tried leaning on the boat to see the fishes and he accidentally fell.

George was very scared he didn’t want to fall himself. But he couldn’t leave Fred alone so he threw a rope to Fred and pulled him up. It was so hard, but he did it and Fred thanked him and hugged him.

Moral of the Story: True friends don’t leave you alone in any situation.

Mango Trees

Mango Trees

There were three friends in a village named Varun, Aakash, and Neel. They loved mangoes and spent their evening plucking mangoes from trees. Aakash and Neel would climb the mango trees and pluck the mangoes while Varun would pick them from the ground.

Varun was scared of heights so he never learned to climb trees. One day Aakash and Neel decided to help Varun overcome his fears. They brought an old mattress and placed it under the tree. They convinced Varun that even if he fell, the mattress would save him.

The whole evening, they taught Varun to climb trees. Varun was scared and first but he tried again and again. He fell a couple of times but the mattress saved him. He didn’t lose up and his friends cheered for him. A week later Varun climbed a tree without any fear.

After that, they all would climb mango trees and eat mangoes sitting on the tree together.

Moral of the Story: Always believe in yourself and you will do wonders.
